Otero County commissioners certify election votes ten days after the primary
Grieve your plans, embrace God’s
Father’s Day Quote from Pastor Tony Evans! FGGAM QUOTE of the Day: “When a man does not live according to the biblical definition of manhood, it shows up in his own life and in the lives under his influence and care. When we look around our world today, we can see a lot of wear and tear. There is a lot of wear and tear on women who are being misused, abused, or neglected. There is a lot of wear and tear on children who are being forgotten, misled, or turned loose. There is a lot of wear and tear on churches that split, sit stagnant, or fail to develop men who grasp the abundant life or high calling to discipleship. There is a lot of wear and tear in our communities and our nation as the economic, educational, racial, criminal, social, and health care wars dismantle our stability. We cannot resolve any of these issues without first addressing the cause of them. Many men are not aligning themselves with the purposes of God’s kingdom. Until that alignment is made right, wear and tear will only perpetuate itself, resulting in counseling and pastoral offices like my own continuing to be flooded with the fallout.” Pastor Tony Evans in his book, “Kingdom Man”
I have stated for many years now that America is at war with itself! Who will win? I get to talk to many folks during the week, that is part of our ministry here at FGGAM. Reaching out to a hurting world, talking to Christians and non-Christians. We attempt to build bridges of love and trust. The majority of people I talk to are so very, very sad as to what is happening to America, the majority I talk to have had it with politicians on both sides. So many have no interest in the church, because of its involvement with bad politicians. The civil war in America is now a daily soap opera, a very bad one indeed. We are getting to the point of ‘no return’ in this country. No return to what? To what God intends us to be, a godly nation. Remember Barna research shows only 6% of America has a Biblical Worldview and only 37% of Pastors have a Biblical Worldview, so you can see for yourself what the results are in America, its all played out for you everyday, EVIL. The church here in New Mexico has lost its influence, as has the church in the entire nation. I see no end in sight for this civil war.
America needs a peacemaker! It will not be found in politics, the only true peacemaker is JESUS!
What ever happened to The Ten Commandments? The Church became silent. Here me out! My Daddy and Mom stressed to us kids to take responsibility! to many Americans blame others, look in the mirror people! What have you done? Clean up your own backyard, before you try to clean up someone else’s. Daddy stressed that to us, he was a SGT. in the Marines in WW II. We have torn America apart, the WW II generation brought the country together!
New possible punishment for those resisting election result certification
FGGAM received this news release from the NM Secretary of State:
New Mexico Secretary of State Refers Otero County Commissioners to Attorney General for Potential Civil and Criminal Violations of the Election Code
SANTA FE – Following multiple, willful violations of the state’s Election Code by the Otero County Commission, Secretary of State Maggie Toulouse Oliver has made a referral to Attorney General Hector Balderas to investigate these matters.
“All county officials take an oath to uphold the constitution and laws of New Mexico,” said Secretary of State Maggie Toulouse Oliver. “The Commissioners in Otero County have violated the public’s trust and our state laws through their recent actions and must be held accountable.”
The referral is attached to this release. The introduction to the referral lays out the potential violations of the Election Code that have occurred over recent weeks by the Otero County Commission:
The SOS is referring a criminal matter for investigation related to multiple unlawful actions by the Otero County Commission in June of 2022, that directly implicate criminal violations of the Election Code and the Governmental Conduct Act. The specific criminal and civil violations are found in NMSA 1978, Section 1-20-23 and NMSA 1978, Section 10-16-3. The specific actions stem from the Otero County Commission meetings held on June 9, 2022, and June 13, 2022. Specifically, the Commission continually refuses to comply with their mandatory duty under the Election Code in certifying the election returns and otherwise complying with the election code. Specifically, the Otero County Commission voted to hand count the election returns, to remove the secure containers mandated by the legislature to be in use for voters to return mailed ballots, and to discontinued use of the state certified voting systems or tabulators. All these actions are not permitted or are unlawful pursuant to the explicit terms of the election code. Additionally, on June 13, the Otero County Commission unlawfully voted to not certify the election results. Certification is necessary to issue certificates of nomination and declare the official results of the 2022 Primary Election. Therefore, all these violations of laws implicate the criminal and civil penalties in the Election Code and the Governmental Conduct Act.

Misinformation about our voting and elections poses a dire threat to our system of government and way of life and, because of this, the Secretary of State’s Office has launched a new misinformation fact check site called “Rumor vs. Reality” that the public can use to get the facts about how our elections are conducted and secured.

We are so very divided, so very broken, and ungodly…….
Dr. Jim Denison:
There has been another church shooting, this time in the Birmingham, Alabama, area. Two people were killed and another person was injured yesterday evening in an attack at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Vestavia Hills. The suspect, who has not yet been identified publicly, is in custody.
When I saw the news, I had to decide whether or not to report it. If it seems mass shootings are daily occurrences, that’s because it’s true. The Gun Violence Archive has counted at least 246 mass shootings through early June. Since this is the 168th day of the year, we are averaging 1.5 such tragedies every day.
In a culture as broken as ours, compassion fatigue is real. How many of the signs are you experiencing?
- Feeling exhausted physically and psychologically
- Feeling helpless, hopeless, or powerless
- Feeling irritable, angry, sad, or numb
- A sense of being detached or having decreased pleasure in activities
- Ruminating about the suffering of others and feeling anger towards the events or people causing the suffering
- Blaming yourself and having thoughts of not having done enough to help the people who are suffering
- A decreased sense of personal and professional accomplishment
- A change in your worldview or spirituality
- Physical symptoms, including sleep and appetite disturbances, nausea, and dizziness.
- FGGAM Shares a Biblical Worldview Everyday:“The Biblical worldview says there is a God—One who is personal, powerful and caring—who created the world and everything in it. It states unequivocally that man is created in God’s image, living in essence as God’s co-regent over creation. Mankind—born and unborn, rich and poor, able and disabled—has intrinsic worth. Almighty God is a sovereign God, ruler over nations, states, empires, and governments. He is to be worshiped and obeyed through the precepts and principles revealed in His infallible Word. He not only exists, but He is sovereign over all of history according to His wisdom and purposes, and He is intimately involved in every aspect of life.”
