Minn. Twins Pitching Coach Wes Johnson: “I tell people my priorities. It’s my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, one. It’s my family, two. And it’s baseball, three. I’m never going to get those out of whack”

For those that do not know I have been a Minnesota Twins fan since I can remember!!!

I was sad when I heard that Minnesota Twins pitching coach had resigned. He has been such a tremendous pitching coach for the Twins! BUT! When I heard more details, I fully understand and agree with the decision of this man of God! Coach Johnson wanted to go to back to college baseball where there is less games, which means less travel. I did not know that Coach Johnson is a Christian! I am so glad he made the statement he did!! By the way, he also is going to earn less money! I pray his testimony moves many men to have their priorities straight with JESUS CHRIST AND FAMILY!

I am very thankful that Megan Ryan of the Mpls Star/Trib did a write up on this! PSA: When I was 9 years old I was delivering the afternoon Mpls Star in my wonderful hometown of Windom, Minnesota! I am so very blessed by my parents, the ALC Church, and the community to have such a solid Christian foundation!
