Culture War: Massive Decrease in Americans who believe the Bible is the “literal word of God”: Crisis Pregnancy Center Leader Responds to Elizabeth Warren’s Pro-Life ‘Crackdown,’ Debunks Pro-Choice Claims
In my travels yesterday around Albuquerque in talking to people there is a great divide on the abortion issue, more than ever. How will this impact the governors race in New Mexico? The GOP candidate Mark Ronchetti, has been very quiet on this issue, he certainly has not come out strong in any on his TV ads about being pro-life.
America is at war with itself on many fronts, from God’s babies, to guns, and many other issues. The one thing that I find in my travels is that people are really sick and tired of politicians, both the Dems and Republicans. Ever since I went into radio in 1978, I have always enjoyed talking to people, I used to do what we called ‘man of the street’ interviews dating back to KGCX in Sidney, Montana. You really get a sense what the average American like you and me is thinking. It is not the modern day, scientific way of gathering polling information for sure! I find that people love their country, dislike politicians because they fight all the time, divide the country, hate mongers, bring no unity to the country, they have big egos, they love power and money. Not all, but most. Hard to find purity in politics.
We are in deep trouble, because we lack peacemakers in politics. The true peacemaker, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is being kicked out of America by many. His Word is even being disregarded by so called pastors and Christians. Barna research shows only 6% of Americans have a Biblical Worldview and only 37% of pastors have a Biblical Worldview. Just 20% now believe the Bible is the literal word of God, down from 30% in 2011 and 24% in 2017.
