I have been officiating so many funerals in the last three years, more than I officiated in my first 10 years as a pastor. I had to take a 2 week break at the start of July, as it wore me down spiritually and physically. I always want to be spiritually sharp to serve families. I have learned so much about God, death, grieving and people. I was taught years ago that everyone should go to a funeral, hospital, and nursing home once a month, it will teach you much about life. I will always wonder why so many people are so mean, why so many do not value life, and many do not really realize life is short, time flies. Are you living for God?There are no do overs. If your life was to end today, would you go to heaven?
