Flying Migrants to Martha’s Vineyard Sparks Reactions From Church Leaders, God cannot be pleased when we use people as political pawns!

Pastor Dewey: God cannot be pleased when we use people as political pawns! The system has been broken for years and both parties are at fault as they have ‘kicked the can’ down the road forever! We are a messed up country, it seems everyday in America the love of Jesus is disappearing. I just get sick when I read comments about this issue by ‘so called’ Christians. Many think this situation is funny! SHAME! Both the Dems and GOP have failed on this issue for years, now they play games with God’s people. Jesus wept. John 11:35. I want to say like we used ‘back in the day’ handle this situation like adults, but I see fewer and fewer mature, Christian adults in our government and country. Many, including Pastors, are all tied up in the knots of politics. I am here to tell you you can have the love of Jesus and the accountability of Jesus, Biblical principles, at the same time! The GOP now is playing games with God’s babies with their 15 week abortion ban proposal! Many in the GOP are not Pro-Life, they play games with God’s babies they compromise the word of God. AND what about that same-sex marriage bill going around D.C.?

Negotiators have been working on an amendment to the bill aimed at attracting the 10 Republican votes needed to overcome a filibuster. More Here

What happened? IT’S ELECTION TIME! Both parties are in bad shape Biblically. The GOP can no longer say they are Pro-Life! Oh My! We need a come to JESUS meeting in America!

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another:
just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.

By this all people will know that you are my disciples,
if you have love for one another.
John 13:34-35

Ed Stetzer on Immigration: ‘Let’s Fix the System’

In a statement, Outreach magazine editor-in-chief Ed Stetzer says, “Playing political games scores points, and the hypocrisy of the current immigration system is easy to point out. However, it does not solve the actual problems.” Instead, he adds, “Let’s fix the system and stop turning people into pawns of political one-upmanship.”

This week’s unexpected transport of migrants from Republican governors in the South to Democrat-controlled areas in the North led to community action and heated discussions. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis flew two planes of migrants to the upscale Massachusetts island community of Martha’s Vineyard, while Texas Gov. Greg Abbott bused migrants to the Washington, D.C. residence of Vice President Kamala Harris.

The southern governors say their states are overwhelmed by illegal immigration and blame the Biden administration’s policies. But critics—including some church leaders—say shipping people around to make a point isn’t the solution. More Here
