Give A Shout For Jesus!!!
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. There is more fear today in the world than ever. Fear is definitely not our portion as Christians. I heard Joyce Meyer say that fear is false evidence appearing real. Most of what is feared will never happen.
God tells us to cast down imaginations and every high and lofty thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. (2Corinthians 10:3-5)
Everyone has thoughts, but we learn to cast them down, put them aside and trust God for his purpose. It’s something that we get better at as we meditate on his Word and believe God’s plan for our lives. What really solidifies it for me, is that this plan was founded before the foundations of the earth, before we were ever born. (Psalm 139:13-16)
What is your greatest fear? Fear has torment and if we can identify what fears are believed then we can replace it with the truth.
First, we must believe that we are loved. 1 John 4:18 states Where God’s love is there is no fear, because God’s perfect love drives out fear. It is punishment that makes a person fear, so love is not made perfect in the person who fears. Romans 5:8 states God shows his great love for us in this way: Christ died for us while we were still sinners. John 3:16 God so loved the world that he gave his only son that whoever believes in him may not be lost, but have eternal life. See you can’t earn this, no one can give this to you, it’s between you and God.
Fear has torment, and that’s not our portion. 2 Timothy 1:7 states God did not give us a spirit that makes us afraid but a spirit of power and love and a sound mind. Do you believe this?
Lastly, let’s look at John 14:27, it states I leave you peace, my peace I give to you. I do not give it to you as the world does. So don’t let your hearts be troubled or afraid. Can you receive this?
Let’s Pray:
Father, today, we thank you that you have not given use a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. Today, we thank you for victory over fear. We thank you for loving your people enough to die for us while we were yet sinners. There is nothing we have ever done or will ever do that would ever stop you from loving us.
Father, we have been perfected in your love forever more. Amen.
