I first learned us this very horrific murder from Pastor Richard Mansfield of New Beginnings Church. It hit me hard. Another murder in Albuquerque. Murder after murder, no end in sight. What are we going to do my friends? I am reading so many beautiful things abut Daniel Bourne. I read about his life on how he served our country in many ways. Mr. Bourne was a long-time member who was active at Calvary Church and served by working as a security guard. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and a retired Bernalillo County Fire Department commander. My heart is broken. We keep having murders in our city, it it like life does not matter to many anymore. What are we going to do? Think about it. Pray about it. Our City, state and nation is being destroyed. We have lost another hero, with the murder of Mr. Daniel Bourne. I am writing this at 4:30am and thinking of Mr. Bourne’s wife and three children and his entire family, that will never be the same, because of our violent city. The report I read that the thug that was arrested has a criminal history. New Mexico must stop releasing thugs. They must prove they are worthy of release, otherwise they get back on the streets and raise more hell. New Mexico must stop ‘catch and release.’
“Therefore I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and dissension.” 1 Timothy 2:8
Body of Christ, please join me in praying for Pastor Skip, Pastor Nate, Calvary Church of Albuquerque congregation and the Family of this Security Officer after this horrible senseless killing. 🙏🏼
Calvary Albuquerque is grieving the loss of a beloved member of our church family, Daniel Bourne.
Daniel was a veteran of the US Coast Guard and a retired BCFD commander. In his retirement, he had dedicated his life to protecting our church community.
The tragic events of Friday night, September 23, took him from us far too early. He leaves behind his dear wife and three children.
This weekend, at all of our campuses, we will be honoring the memory of Daniel and focusing our services on the question of how we find hope and healing during life’s traumatic and painful surprises.
We will also have on each campus a number of trained trauma counselors, and chaplains from various agencies, to assist anyone struggling through this loss or their own pain.
Services times and locations are available at Calvarynm.church
Calvary is grateful for the incredible and professional help of the Albuquerque Police Department in pursuing the perpetrator of this awful crime.
We are also grateful that because of our own safety procedures, we were able to supply the APD with critical evidence to help the authorities quickly identify and apprehend a suspect.
Any inquiries related to the facts and circumstances of the homicide, should be made directly to the Albuquerque Police Department.

We all need to work harder at reaching the lost and carrying out THE GREAT COMMISSION:

Satan is having his way with many in America, so many are off the track and blinded by Satan, walking in such mud and darkness, many do not even know it!

Why is the World full of evil?

“So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts” Eph 4: 17, 18.

The Scriptures call the mind of the natural man “blinded” 2 Cor. 4:4, “depraved” Romans 1:28, “corrupt” 1 Tim. 6:5, and “unspiritual” Col. 2:18. The natural mind thinks from a humanistic, sin-debased viewpoint. The viewpoint of the flesh directs its thoughts. The sinful mind is under the control of Satan and can never please God because it concentrates on things of the world and not things of the Spirit. The natural mind walks the road of hopelessness and self-destruction.
