From CHURCHLEADERS:
Anne Wilson, this year’s recipient of the 53rd Annual Dove Awards’ New Artist of the Year and Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year for her song “My Jesus,” shared the story of a woman struggling with suicidal thoughts who gave her life to Jesus after hearing Wilson’s song on the radio.
“There was a lady that came up to me at the show the other week,” Wilson, who attended as a fan in 2019, told the media at the Dove Awards on Tuesday night (Oct. 18). “She was struggling with cancer, had lost all of her hair battling [the disease], and she said that she was ready to commit suicide…but she was in the car and she heard ‘My Jesus’ come on Christian radio.” More Here
FGGAM Shares a Biblical Worldview Everyday:
“The Biblical worldview says there is a God—One who is personal, powerful and caring—who created the world and everything in it. It states unequivocally that man is created in God’s image, living in essence as God’s co-regent over creation. Mankind—born and unborn, rich and poor, able and disabled—has intrinsic worth. Almighty God is a sovereign God, ruler over nations, states, empires, and governments. He is to be worshiped and obeyed through the precepts and principles revealed in His infallible Word. He not only exists, but He is sovereign over all of history according to His wisdom and purposes, and He is intimately involved in every aspect of life.”
I pray that you vote wherever you live in America. It is our duty. ‘GOT QUESTIONS’ PUTS IT THIS WAY: It is our contention that it is the duty and responsibility of every Christian to vote and to vote for leaders who promote Christian principles. God is most certainly in control, but that does not mean we should do nothing to further His will. We are commanded to pray for our leaders (1 Timothy 2:1-4). In terms of politics and leadership, there is evidence in Scripture that God has been displeased with our choices of leadership at times (Hosea 8:4). The evidence of sin’s grip on this world is everywhere.
