In The Stillness…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. As I sit this morning at my kitchen table and hear the rain that is falling quite heavily along with the sound of the wind blowing, I look for the light. In my part of the country, it is still pitch dark outside and the morning light seems rather late.
I think on the scripture that a friend sent me from the other side of the world this morning. Be still and know that he is God, her text read. The next part of the scripture really sums it all up. He will be exalted among the nations; He will be exalted over the earth. (Psalm 46:10)
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you that your spirit is moving across our land today. Blow over us today in Aroostook County, Maine like never before. Father, you tell us we have not in the book of James, because we ask not. We ask this morning; we believe this morning and we receive this morning.
Father, for my sister that sent the text this morning from Dubai, blow over her region, blow over every place you have founded here on earth. Dominion belongs to you oh God. Father, you said it is not by might, nor by power, but by your spirit. (Zechariah 4:6) We give you thanks for your promise of Joel 2:28.
Father, thank you for showing yourself strong in the world today. We exalt you! Amen.
