Laughter, Good For The Mind, Body, Soul & Spirit…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I need to laugh more. I love to laugh, but I tend to be more on the serious side. I look at all the world issues and inquire of God as what does he say this morning.
The Bible tells us that even the Lord our God laughed. The Bible tells us weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
Recently, I spoke with some friends about worry. Come on now, who has worry? I admit sometimes, I worry. Then, I have to take a few steps back and look at God’s record. It’s easy to talk about it, read about it, but not always easy to journey it. Worry is not our portion, trusting God is. Sometimes it’s easier than at other times, and I am not sure why. How can we go wrong, when we journey life every day, with the Creator of the Universe? We just can’t.
Today, there are people all around us that are worried. They worry about their tomorrows. Give them a dose of hope and joy today. Light their candle by sharing yours. Amen? Amen.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for laughter. Blessed are you who hunger now, for you will be satisfied. Blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh.
Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.” The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. (Psalm 126:2-3)
Father, thank you that we can cast all our cares upon you and enjoy our day, the day that you have given to us. May we laugh often this day and share some joy with another, that they too may find rest for their weary soul. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Find some laughter in your day and enjoy life.
