A Big God…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. The fresh white blanket of snow has covered the ground this morning. I sit at my kitchen table before a big God that has big plans for his people. The snow has now covered the branches of the trees and I ponder what this winter will bring. I find myself reading from the book a friend sent me, Believe In Angels. 101 Inspirational Stories of Hope, Miracles and Answered Prayers. It’s from the Chicken Soup for the soul series.
Yesterday, I visited my daughter and family as the children decorated the Christmas Tree. The excitement in their little faces made this grandmother’s heart just glisten. I pretended to be the announcer as they did their little stunts on their play equipment. They would laugh as I would say; ladies and gentleman and people of the press, don’t try this alone, it’s very dangerous. Their giggles could be heard as they tried to do their acrobats. Isn’t that just like life. We don’t want to walk this life alone. It gets pretty tricky Amen? Amen.
Let’s Pray:
Father, today we pray that you, oh God, would meet every need your people have according to your riches in glory. I pray many will find Christ in Christmas this year. I pray the snow would be slow to fall and the love of Christ would spread fast, far and wide around our world.
Father, even though we haven’t celebrated Thanksgiving yet this year in America, we are thankful everyday that we are never alone, and you will never leave us, nor forsake us. To God be all the glory. Amen.
