Lord Jesus, thank You for inviting us all to receive You as our Savior and friend. We joyfully accept Your invitation to spend today and every day with You. As we celebrate Thanksgiving, each of us has reasons to be thankful. Right now, we choose to focus on the good things in our lives, on all that is authentic and pure, honorable, and praiseworthy.
As the psalmist says, “You have set a table before us.” You anoint us to overflowing with Your kindness and goodness. And yes, the enemy of our souls is witness to what You are doing. May Your Holy Spirit have free reign over our nation, our hearts, and our homes. Display Your mighty love and grace to the world. May Your Spirit bring true change across the globe this Thanksgiving and shine hope into darkness.
Where You are, there is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, and goodness. It is You we want to spend Thanksgiving with. You invite us all to Your banquet table. Who could ever ask for more?
