Happy Thanksgiving! Are You The One?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. As I sit at my table this morning, looking at the beautiful white snow covering our part of the earth, I am reminded of the story in Luke 17. When Jesus healed the ten lepers and only one came back to give thanks.
Let’s all be the one that comes back and gives thanks today. Thanksgiving Day will look different for people all across this globe. Some will celebrate with family and friends, others will be alone, and many will be in shelters, nursing homes and other places around our world.
Today, let’s give thanks for what we have, let’s be a grateful people for what is and what is yet to come. Amen?
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for all you have given us. We have much to be thankful for. Thank you for your Word and that we can sign your name to our every day.
Father, today we want to be the one that comes back to give thanks, never forgetting how you turned our wailing into dancing; you removed our sackcloth and clothed us with joy,
that our heart may sing your praises and not be silent. Lord my God, we will praise you forever. (Psalm 30:11-12)
Father, we give thanks today and every day that we journey life with the man that can walk on water, part the red sea and bring good from every circumstance.
Happy Thanksgiving God’s most beautiful people. You are loved with an everlasting love.
