From Dr. Jim Denison:

“Courteous conduct honors Christ”

Consequently, the way Christians engage in politics is crucial to our witness and the eternal destinies of those we influence. Max Lucado was right: “Those who don’t believe in Jesus note what we who believe in Jesus do. They make decisions about Christ by watching us. When we’re kind, they assume Christ is kind. When we’re gracious, they assume Christ is gracious. But when we’re dishonest, what assumption will an observer make about our Master?

“No wonder the Apostle Paul says, ‘Be wise in the way you act with people who are not believers, making the most of every opportunity. When you talk, you should always be kind and pleasant so you will be able to answer everyone in the way you should’ (Colossians 4:5–6 NCV).”

Lucado therefore noted: “Courteous conduct honors Christ. It also honors his children.”

Will your political engagement today honor both?

“Be wise in the way you act with people who are not believers.” —Colossians 4:5 NCV

FGGAM Shares a Biblical Worldview Everyday:

“The Biblical worldview says there is a God—One who is personal, powerful and caring—who created the world and everything in it. It states unequivocally that man is created in God’s image, living in essence as God’s co-regent over creation. Mankind—born and unborn, rich and poor, able and disabled—has intrinsic worth. Almighty God is a sovereign God, ruler over nations, states, empires, and governments. He is to be worshiped and obeyed through the precepts and principles revealed in His infallible Word. He not only exists, but He is sovereign over all of history according to His wisdom and purposes, and He is intimately involved in every aspect of life.”

6 things to watch in the high-stakes midterm elections

John MacArthur and John Piper Discuss How American Christians Can Prepare for Persecution During Q&A Session

The race for President is just heating up!

Christians should not accept bad behavior in any shape or form.

Attacks, attacks and more attacks……American politics is sick. I am so sick and tired of it. Politics is the playground of Satan. Mudslinging is at an all time high in America, ethics has fallen into the gutter. Jesus Wept. John 11:35.

America needs peacemakers, not anymore dividers. Return to GOD ALMIGHTY America. Even the American Church is divided.

Save America? Only GOD can. Politics has become a stumbling block for many in America in their relationship with GOD by accepting bad behavior. Many see politics when they first awake in the morning, instead of GOD.

Matthew 5:9 is part of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount in which He says, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God.” The Greek word translated “peacemaker” is used in only one other place in the New Testament, in a slightly different form. Colossians 1:20 says, “For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross.”

Jesus laid down His life to make peace between God and sinners, and when we can carry that message of peace to others, we are peacemakers. God delights in those who reconcile others to Himself—those who bring the gospel are “beautiful” (Isaiah 52:7). God “reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation” (2 Corinthians 5:18). Those who bring reconciliation to broken relationships are carrying on the work of Jesus, the Prince of Peace. Those who give of themselves as Jesus did in order that others may know God are called “blessed.” There is no real peace apart from a relationship with God (Romans 5:1). What may masquerade as worldly peace is merely a temporary lull in chaos (John 14:27). True peace is found only in a restored relationship with God. “‘There is no peace,’ says the LORD, ‘for the wicked’” (Isaiah 48:22). From ‘Got Questions’ More Here

AMERICA! BLESS GOD!

Dale Chamberlain of CHURCHLEADERS Reports:

From the now-infamous “Access Hollywood” leaked tape to actions that may have directly contributed to a violent attack on the United States Capitol, it has long appeared that there is nothing former president Donald Trump could do to lose support among white evangelicals.

However, events that took place over the weekend seemed to indicate growing fissures in that once impassable unity of approval, with Florida governor Ron DeSantis emerging as heir apparent over leadership of the Republican party, as well as the white evangelical support that comes with it.

This is a prayer by Conrad Hilton, 1887-1979, born in San Antonio, New Mexico and founder of the Hilton Hotel Chain. He delivered this prayer on July 3rd, 1952.
Our Father in heaven,

We pray that You save us from ourselves,

The world that You made for us, to live in peace, we have made into an armed camp.  We live in fear of war to come.  We are afraid of

“the terror that flies by night, and the arrow that flies by day, the pestilence that walks in darkness and the destruction that wastes at noon-day.”

We have turned from You to go our selfish way.  We have broken Your commandments and denied Your truth.  We have left Your altars to serve the false gods of money and pleasure and power.

Forgive us and help us.

Now, darkness gathers around us, and we are confused in all our counsels.  Losing faith in You, we lose faith in ourselves.

Inspire us with wisdom, all of us every color, race, and creed, to us our wealth, our strength to help our brother, instead of destroying him.  Help us to do Your will as it is done in heaven and to be worthy of Your promise of peace on earth.  Fill us with new faith, new strength and new courage, that we may win the Battle of Peace.

Be swift to save, dear God, before the darkness falls.

“Incline your ear, O LORD, and hear: open Your eyes, O LORD, and see…..”  Isaiah, 37:27
