My brothers and sisters, in this time of constant worldly and spiritual turmoil, taking some time each day in prayer, the word, and in worship is so very important! Even a few moments of worship can help to de-clutter our minds and set our focus on the goodness of God. Praise God that Jesus willingly took the punishment for our sin upon Himself at the cross, sent us the Holy Spirit, and gave us the assurance of eternal life in the very presence of God Almighty!
Jesus is worthy of all praise, honor and glory! Amen! Just as King David was compelled to dance, it is also good for us to rejoice about our Lord by singing praises – and if you are so inclined, to dance before Him.
2 Samuel 6:13-15 [NKJV] – “And so it was, when those bearing the ark of the Lord had gone six paces, that he sacrificed oxen and fatted sheep. Then David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod. So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet.”
PRAISE HIM – Here is a recording of “David Danced” played by Salvador. It was recorded live at Calvary of Albuquerque on June 6, 2003.
In John 14:6-7, Jesus tells the disciples that not only is He the way, the truth and the life, but that if they know Him, then they also know the Father, and have now seen the Father. How beautiful is our Lord and Savior!
Psalm 27:4 [NKJV] – “One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple.”
WORSHIP HIM – Here is a recording of Keith Green’s “Oh Lord, You’re Beautiful” sung by Chris Tomlin and Steffany Gretzinger. This song touches my heart very deeply.
Praise Jesus forevermore!
