USA TODAY REPORTS:
The death toll from a historic onslaught of winter weather across the U.S. rose to at least 50 Monday as frigid arctic air and heavy lake-effect snow left large swaths of the U.S. frozen.

FOX NEWS REPORTS:
Along with Denver International Airport, Chicago O’Hare, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and LaGuardia Airport also saw major travel issues on Monday. Southwest Airlines had a majority of the cancellations, with 87% of its total flights canceled on Monday alone.
