Whether They Realize It or Not, Pastors Influence Young People on Politics: Battle for the greatest promoter of sin in American society

The last 7 or more years we have seen so much corruption in Washington D.C. We saw our nation attacked on Jan 6th. So much damage was done to America on that day, a big part of America died that day. One of the biggest tragedies is the GOP is no longer the party of Reagan. It is a party of chaos and evil. Many in the GOP have caved on saving God’s babies. The DEMS have been evil for years. The GOP is losing their influence on America everyday. A third party with a Biblical Worldview, is needed to help save America. We have little to nothing to chose from right now. Many like me, vote for the lesser of the two evils. Americans have elected immoral leaders. America has left God. Pastor Paul Holt writes:

There has been a procession of immoral men to take up residence at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave in running gun battle for the greatest promoter of sin in American society.

From Bill Clinton to Donald Trump, we thought we had seen the worst such men could bring into the national conversation. With Barrack Obama to the Supreme Court, we thought we had seen the worst that could be accomplished through executive order and judicial decree. Story Here

Scholar: America is still reacting to the religious right, in more ways than one

Only 6% of us have a Biblical Worldview. Too many pastors backed these evil leaders, which has chased people away from God and the church. Just 37% of pastors have a Biblical Worldview, you see the results right? The destruction of America. I SEE IT! I KNOW IT! I hear about as I travel. This is what happens when a nation leaves GOD ALMIGHTY.

Pastors have the opportunity to connect with young people over politics and to inform how Gen Z shows up as Christ’s ambassadors.

To what extent a church can engage with political campaigns, and how publicly supportive a pastor can be of a particular candidate, is a matter of ongoing debate. In 2020, Lifeway Research found that while just 1% of pastors endorsed a candidate for public office during a church service that year, around a third of pastors (32%) personally endorsed political candidates outside of their church role, a 10-point jump from 2016.

Often, conversations about pastors’ political influence are clipped at whether or not, and in what settings, they endorse candidates. After all, endorsing or opposing candidates is of most interest to IRS laws. “Church leaders have two choices when it comes to elections: Give up their tax-exempt status and endorse candidates during services or abstain from breaking the law and keep it,” political commentator Nicole Russell wrote for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.More Here
