Albuquerque’s KOAT Channel 7, KRQE Channel 13 and KOB Channel 4 television news stations are all reporting a crash this morning at the intersection of SR 236 and Roosevelt Road T. The crash involved a local school bus and a commercial vehicle (semi-trailer).
Seven students were reportedly injured, with one student airlifted to a hospital in Lubbock, Texas. The New Mexico State Police are investigating.

Please lift up the vehicles’ drivers, students and their families, police investigators and school officials to the Lord, asking for healing (physically and emotionally), a proper investigation and corrective action, and wisdom for all of the school officials. Regardless of fault, it’s a blessing that this situation wasn’t even worse.
