The federal government is expected to reach its spending limit today, with Democrats and the GOP in a standoff. The White House wants Congress to raise the debt ceiling again to avoid default, while House Republicans insist that spending cuts be part of the mix.
The Biden administration plans to announce a multi-billion dollar Ukraine aid package this week. It’s expected to include Stryker combat vehicles and Bradley armored tanks to help the Ukraine military better maneuver on the front lines against Russia.
