The Happy Handshake…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. What an amazing day out in the deep. God is so good. I love when God uses me in teaching moments. Tonight I was in a church meeting and I felt to shake this persons hand and leave some cash in it, so I did. The person told me later that today was the first time they had tithed. This individual their mother gave them a $20.00 bill and they gave $2.00 (ten percent) in the offering. He kept ninety percent for himself. The money I placed in his hand was ten times what he gave. This person was so excited as they are just learning God’s principles and he needed his whole twenty dollars before they tithed. I was excited too that I had heard the voice of God and obeyed. So we both rejoiced.
In the morning service I noticed this individaul dancing to the music. Their exuberance caught my attention. I am not a dancer but it made me think of my writing, I feel like dancing..
My Lord, my God, my Redeemer, my Father and yet my friend. We wait upon you. We look to you, Oh Lord. Wisdom, yes we lack. We ask of you my Lord. Healing Waters-yes, we do believe, healing your people-wholeness, that’s what we so desire. You, Oh Lord, you are the one, the only one, who can complete the deep work in us. Removing pain, shame, deception and bringing truth to the light. Yes, Lord that’s what we need. Strongholds destroyed by the power of your name. Jesus how do we say thank you? We want to worship you both day and night. Never forgetting our brokenness and how you turned our darkness into light. Jesus, my Lord we just want you to know, how much we love you. Jesus my friend and yet my Lord. We wait on you. We feel like dancing as we wait on you.
Dancing, dancing, we want to praise your name. Inside we are dancing both day and night.
