From CHURCHLEADERS:

In a recent interview, pastor, author, and theologian Tim Keller reflected on his prayer life in the two and a half years since his terminal cancer diagnosis, saying that while he often prays for complete healing, the knowledge that death is certain has actually caused him to grow into more of the person God intends him to be. More Here

What is a Christian?

Do people see JESUS in you? Does your language and behavior attract people to JESUS? Do you show people the love of JESUS?

So very tragic to see many denominational splits. God did not establish denominations, man did. So many Pastors and Churches are taking on their own version of the Bible. Only 37% of Pastors in America have a Biblical Worldview. JUST 6% of Americans have a Biblical Worldview. As I travel, Boy, do I hear many different versions on what it means to be a Christian, it makes my head spin! Look for the fruit! Look for Christians that are producing fruit for the kingdom.

Study Shows Shocking Lack of Biblical Worldview Among American Pastors

Study: 6% of Americans Follow a Biblical Worldview

I see way to many people, especially politicians who claim to be a Christian, but they act like crazy people, treat others badly and use bad language. We see that in America politics more and more. What a sad day in America when ‘so called’ Christians support evil politicians. When non-believers see Christians backing evil politicians, there is no way they are going to join a Church. Christianity in America is at a tipping point.

If you are looking for a Bible believing Church, it would be wise to ask the Pastor for a statement of faith. FGGAM’s is posted on the front page of this website and in many of our posts.

From ‘Got Questions’

A dictionary definition of a Christian would be something similar to “a person professing belief in Jesus as the Christ or in the religion based on the teachings of Jesus.” While this is a good starting point, like many dictionary definitions, it falls somewhat short of really communicating the biblical truth of what it means to be a Christian. The word “Christian” is used three times in the New Testament (Acts 11:2626:281 Peter 4:16). Followers of Jesus Christ were first called “Christians” in Antioch (Acts 11:26) because their behavior, activity, and speech were like Christ. The word “Christian” literally means, “belonging to the party of Christ” or a “follower of Christ.”

Christianity is at a Tipping Point in America

We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old Testament and New Testament are the inerrant, inspired, and infallible Word of God.
God’s Word is the final authority for faith and life.
We believe there is only one God, and He has chosen to reveal Himself
as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
