Today Is Your New Beginning…

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Happy eighth day of January. Eight is the number of new beginnings. God has given me many opportunities to minister to broken people all across this globe. Recently, I have been doing radio interviews sharing my story of brokenness, redemption and journey of healing as I share about my book Secret Shame.

I love how God can take any situation, any mess and turn it around and use it for his glory. He is the only one I know that can do that. He makes all things new. That’s his promise to all mankind.

What does new really mean? What does it look like? I ask myself and God once again this morning, as I meditate on his Word. Websters dictionary defines it as this: having recently come into existence. Like a newborn baby.

Today let’s embrace the new, close the books on 2022 and thank God for the newness, the newborn baby kind in our lives. Amen? Amen.

Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you for a new day, the eighth day of a new year of journeying every day with you. Revelation 21:5 tells us that He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” Revelation 21:5

Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” “How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!”  Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.  Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.  You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” 3 John 5-8

Father, you said it is not by might nor by power but by your spirit. (Zechariah 4:6) Lead us into the new as we release the old. Amen.

Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Today is your new beginning.
