I went to bed early and woke up to this news at around 4:30am. I slept in, I am sorry for my lateness. When I saw this headline, it did not surprise me at all, there is something rotten in Denmark. The shooting at UNM was in my mind, completely mishandled by the New Mexico State Coach. When Coach Heiar stumbled in his press conversance after the shooting, I knew this was a troubled man with a troubled program. I commend the NMSU administration for their actions.

New Mexico State University announced Friday night its men’s basketball program has been indefinitely suspended, according to The Associated Press. The school also placed first-year coach Greg Heiar and his staff on paid administrative leave for “violations of university policy.” More Here
