(February 8, 2023, Jacksonville, Florida) Thousands of honored guests with special needs from all over the world will be crowned Kings and Queens of the prom at the 9th Annual Night to Shine, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation. Over 40 countries and over 600 churches worldwide will be participating in this unforgettable prom night experience centered on God’s love on the evening of Friday, February 10, 2023. For those without a host church nearby or who prefer to celebrate from home, the Night to Shine Virtual Celebration will go live online to watch from anywhere on the same night.
Founder Tim Tebow said, “Since this event began in 2015, we have watched Night to Shine grow into a worldwide movement. Even though it is held in countries that speak different languages and celebrate in ways unique to their own diverse cultures, God’s love transcends it all. This one night is an incredible moment when Faith, Hope and Love will be shared – a night when Queens and Kings will be celebrated and know their worth, value, and significance through the love of Christ. I love all the ministry we do at the foundation, but Night to Shine holds a special place in my heart.”
As he does every year, Tim Tebow will be making special appearances at several events to celebrate with the honored guests of the night, and encourage and personally thank the host churches.
In order to ensure operations are running smoothly throughout the world, the foundation provides support to the hundreds of churches hosting the event in the form of financial grants, prom kits, an official manual and planning resources, a staff representative from the foundation for any assistance needed through the planning stages and more.
In addition to the many dedicated churches, volunteers, and supporters, Night to Shine is made possible in part by the Official Global Partner, American Residential Services. Not only is their commitment vital to ensure a successful prom night for all, but it also helps to secure the vision of even more Night to Shines for years to come.
“ARS/Rescue Rooter and its network of branches are proud to celebrate all of the Kings and Queens of Night to Shine as the event’s Official Global Partner,” said Scott Boose, CEO of ARS/Rescue Rooter. “In the seven years we’ve been supporting the event, our 6,500 employees have had the privilege of helping to honor and value people living with disabilities through this unforgettable night. To all the honored guests participating this year – shine bright!”
The foundation is looking forward to finally being back in person after two years of hosting via the Night to Shine Virtual Celebration. However, for honored guests and their families who choose to view online this year, or who simply don’t want the night to end, a pre-recorded virtual Night to Shine will be available to watch throughout the year. The following video provides a small glimpse into the lasting impact Night to Shine will make this year, both on-site at host churches and virtually: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwGhYu2cx04
