Father, We Ask For Our City…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Today let’s ask God for great things to happen for our city. Let’s ask him to continue to move mightily in our nation. I want to see some great things, greater things than I have seen in the past. He is a big God and he can join any development plan.
Let’s pray:
Father, we come to you this morning believing you are working all things together for the good of our lives, our communities and our nation. We pray the prayer of St. Francis of Assisi together this morning. Lord, make us an instrument of Thy peace; Where there is hatred, let us sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is error, the truth; Where there is doubt, the faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; And where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console; to be understood, as to understand; to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Father, we continue to pray your perfect will be done on earth as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6) Amen.
