Yesterday afternoon I talked to a mother who is mourning the loss of her 4-year-old girl because of cancer. I will be officiating the memorial service. Then after that, I got a call from a Pastor asking me if I would officiate the funeral of one of his good friends, because he could not. My heart is broken. I awoke at 1:30am thinking about all this. Lord, help me find the right words. I pray constantly, I seek the Lord with all me heart almost every second of the day. I talk to the Lord out loud. The Lord is the only reason I am here. I try to help hurting individuals and families the best I can. I am blessed to serve my Lord and all people. I am blessed that the Lord has me doing the work He assigns me. Do you know your calling? I advise you to go to a hospital, nursing home and a funeral service at least once a month. It will help you have a very good perspective of life and death. It may change your life.
I was so blessed to find this message from Randy Alcorn, who is a favorite of mine. I pray that you will be touched by his message: God’s Word and the Universal Problem of Suffering
