How Much Power Is In Prayer?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I was reading a statement by Max Lucado recently. He said this. Our prayers may be awkward, our attempts may be feeble, but since the power of prayer is in the one that hears it and not in the one who says it, our prayers do make a difference. I am thankful he answers the simplest prayers, and the power is on his end. Thankful that he looks at the heart and delivers the answer according to his will.
I am thankful today that God is all powerful. He has the power to change any circumstance, turn around any situation, all because of his great love for you and me. He loves to have relationship with us, so he can show himself strong on our behalf. Do you believe?
Psalm 141:1-2 I call upon You, O Lord; come quickly to me. Hear my voice when I call to You. May my prayer be set before You like incense.
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you that we will see your victory. Your Word tells us in Isaiah 54:17 that no weapon forged against us will prevail, and we will refute every tongue that accuses us. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the Lord.
Father, what the enemy meant for evil, you bring good. Genesis 50:20 tells us what others intended to harm us with, God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. Thank you for the harvest, the harvest of lost souls.
Father, today we declare the victory promised according to your Word. The favor of the Lord our God rests on us and establishes the work of our hands. (Psalm 90:17)
Instead of your shame we will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace we will rejoice in our inheritance. And so we will inherit a double portion in our land, and everlasting joy will be ours. For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery and wrongdoing. In my faithfulness I will reward my people and make an everlasting covenant with them. (Isaiah 61:7-8)
