A Pastor does to have a ‘job’ that is a secular term. In Christianity we call it a calling. You just do not announce to the world that you are a Pastor. God has to call you. I will tell you that God will move mountains for you to become a Pastor, He did for me! When God calls you, nobody can stop you! In these dark days, we need to stand strong in love for each other, hold each other accountable, sometimes tough love is needed. NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO RETREAT! You know the end of the book. I get asked when I am going to retire? What! Retirement is not in the Bible! When God calls you, guess what, He also will call you home! I am up and Adam every morning by 3am, sometimes earlier to start my day here at FGGAM. I will keep the pace up as long as God wants me to. LISTEN TO HIM! NOT THE WORLD! Spiritual warfare is not pretty, your going to get dirty! Ephesians 6:10–12 says, “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” This text teaches some crucial truths: we can only stand strong in the Lord’s power, it is God’s armor that protects us, and our battle is ultimately against spiritual forces of evil in the world. More on Spiritual Warfare here. Get out of those walls and fight with love. Get out of your comfort zone! Meet people where they are at! Some of you are to concerned about the cosmetics of your Church! Get concerned as to what is happening outside of your Church! God is not going to ask you what color was your carpet or how many big screens you had, or how many colored lights you had in your Church! That’s tough love, Pastor.

From CHURCHLEADERS

A new study conducted by Barna Group has found that only 52% of pastors are “very satisfied,” This constitutes a precipitous drop in pastoral satisfaction over the past number of years, as a similar study conducted in 2015 found that 72% were “very satisfied” with their calling at that time.
