National Public Radio (“NPR”) is reporting that Taiwan’s President, Tsai Ing-wen, is in the United States today as part of a multi-day visit through Central and North America – a trip that China is closely watching. [Note: Photograph credit to REUTERS/Jeenah Moon.]
Following her visit in the US, President Tsai Ing-wen will travel to Belize and Guatemala – both of which still have formal ties with Taipei. Upon her return to the US, she is scheduled to meet with US House Speaker Kevin McCarthy at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. My brothers and sisters, support for President Tsai Ing-wen is absolutely critical. Taiwan is a democratically-functioning Island, separated from mainland China, yet aggressively claimed by China’s President, Ji Jingping, as belonging to, and subject to, mainland China. China is 100% under the control, politically and militarily, of the Chinese Communist Party. [Note: Photograph credit to India TV News.]
Freedom is a gift of God. Many lives, including many US lives, have been lost in battle to prevent communist take overs, including during the Cold War between the US and Russia, and the Korean Conflict. Taiwan is a favored ally; China is not! Let’s pray that the democratically-guided government in Taiwan survives and flourishes, in Jesus’ name!
Praise Jesus forevermore!
