There’s An Assignment In The Wind…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. The wind blew hard last night, did it ever blow. I kept thanking God for blowing change to our nation, blowing change to our region, blowing change into our lives.
On Saturday when I awakened, I heard the words, it’s a new day. I knew they were words from God. Every day is a new day, but this was different. Things they are a changing.
As I shopped on Saturday, I even purchased a new watch. Every time I look at this watch, I declare newness. At church yesterday, this quiet gal in the back somehow made her way to the front to ask the people to invite three people to church this week. It’s not our job to save anyone or change them, it’s our job to invite them. How about it God’s most beautiful people? Are you ready for the assignment that’s in the wind?
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank you for the fresh wind. Blow over our lives today like never before. Father, thank for your mercy on our lives. Because of your great love we are not consumed, for your compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22-23)
Father, Matthew 5:7 (the sermon on the mount) tells us that blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. May it be so, oh God.
Father, thank you from the beautiful rivers of Maine to seven continents of the world, the river of God is flowing. Thank you that the mercy of God is available around our world every day and for every person. To that we say, Amen. We say wind blow, blow fresh on our nation today like never before. The fresh wind of God thank you for blowing fresh on our lives like never before. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful and merciful people. Enjoy your day, the day that God has created and given us and please don’t forget your assignment.
