Unashamed Because of Mercy…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. The most beautiful relationship is journeying every day with our Creator. We have all done things that we are not proud of, but because of God’s mercy, he redeems it.
My second book, Secret Shame is now available at stores and bookstores. It is my personal story of redemption.
God has a plan for every life, and he can redeem your past and give you a new beginning. He can remove the pain, take the sting right out of it and make things new. Just like the white blanket of snow that has fallen on our ground here in Maine. There is not even a mark on this snow this morning. Just pure white snow.
2 Corinthians 5-17-21 tells us this; Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
Titus 3:5 states: He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
I have received the freedom of guilt and shame from my past and today so can you. Hebrews 8:12 states: For I will I forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more. 1 John 1:9 tells us: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
Let’s Pray:
Father, we believe your Word and thank you because of your great love we are not consumed, for your compassions never fail. (Lamentations 3:22)
Father, today may we all draw closer to you. Thank you for redemption. Ephesians 2:4-5 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, by grace ye are saved. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. You too can be unashamed because of his mercy.
