BREAKING NEWS: Albuquerque’s KOB News is reporting this afternoon that actor Alec Baldwin no longer faces charges in the case surrounding the deadly “Rust” movie set shooting, according to Baldwin’s attorneys.
Baldwin faced involuntary manslaughter charges for the October 2021 shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and the wounding of movie director Joel Souza.

NBC News is also reporting in this matter. The New Mexico First Judicial District Attorney’s Office declined to comment to NBC News this afternoon. It was also unclear if charges against Baldwin’s co-defendant and “Rust” armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, were still in play.
