CBN News reports that the United States House of Representatives voted to pass legislation on Thursday which protects the rights of female athletes, blocking transgender athletes from competing in women’s sports.
The House voted along party lines to pass the “Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act,” which if passed into law, would amend Title IX to recognize a person’s sex as the one given at birth. It would also threaten funding to any federally-funded school or college allowing transgender athletes to compete on a women’s or girl’s team.

My brothers and sisters, it hardly seems possible that one day I’d wake up and see the absurdity of our own elected officials claiming to not know (or refusing to acknowledge) what a woman is, or declaring that men can menstruate and become pregnant, or deriding federal legislation (e.g., Title IX) assuring equality in sports for girls and women because it doesn’t specifically allow persons born as men to be on female sports teams – negating the whole point of the legislation!
