In a YouTube video on Saturday, Charles Stanley’s grandson, Matt Brodersen, shared that the pocket watch he auctioned off on eBay was purchased by an anonymous buyer who gave it back to the family and stressed to Brodersen the importance of not selling off family heirlooms. After the buyer called Brodersen to explain that he had purchased the watch only to give it back, Brodersen removed his listing of a framed portrait of Stanley as well as several coins and mailed them back to his uncle.
