I know this is not all inclusive, but the influence is strong among us today. The love for our children is, in my opinion, on a lesser level than when I was very small. In the ’40’s and ’50’s, as I experienced it, love for children was strongly expressed, among other things of course, through ‘provision’ and ‘protection’, and protection was rooted in proper respect for authority and others. Today, while provision may be there, protection is all but gone. It seems, ‘entertainment’ (built-in baby-sitting) is a major focus, at the same time, respect and authority has declined greatly.
Our children are less guarded and protected, physically, mentally, morally, and spiritually. And Church, this is demonic! Is it any wonder that a society that throws away the protection of an unborn child, being offered as a sacrifice to self (demonic), will soon cast away loving protection of the surviving child at all ages.
We, today, have a society of unbridled angry children from birth to at least into their 40’s. The influx of multiple religions that go against God’s design and purpose, and right now more especially the teaching, indoctrination, and practice of Islam in our schools and government institutions is another form of water-boarding the minds of our children. And add to this, indoctrinations of gender choices and suggestions. They are becoming ‘dazed and confused’, but worse, they are angry!
God ordained the Church to be in the world, but not of the world. He expects the Church to be mighty in intercession. He set us in the world, born-again believers, to be salt, light, and mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. And, Church, we are failing! Come on, Church, WAKE UP! Pray On!
