Have You Read The Red Letters?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. As you may know my second book, Secret Shame has been nominated for an award, The Red Letter Award.
Last evening as I prayed with a friend that wrote the book When God Speaks (Hara Saadia) she shared some things that God himself was saying to her. She is on a journey of hearing from God and writing it down, hearing from God and write it down. When I asked her questions regarding some steps she is taking, (she is taking some pretty big steps in life) she could go back to her journal and say, this is what God’s has said to me.
Beautiful people, while we are cultivating that kind of relationship with Jesus, read all the red letters in your Bible. When Jesus speaks, we listen. Watch for him in your day. Listen for him in the quiet. Get rid of chaos in your life and let his love penetrate every area of your heart.
Are you ready to read some red letters?
Let’s Pray:
Father, the red letters in John 14 tell us this: Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.” Verse 6 goes on to tell us I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Father, when you said in John 19:30 It Is Finished, you meant just that. The enemy of our soul was defeated.
Father, lead us today by your spirit and may we always read your red letters and may we always hear your voice, saying this is the way, walk ye in it. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Have a red letter kind of day!
