KOB 4 News (Albuquerque, New Mexico) reports that early last Friday morning, Paul Tafoya, a custodian reporting for work at Albuquerque’s Kennedy Middle School almost lost his life as he was shot twice in the back.
According to Albuquerque Public Schools, Tafoya had asked some persons in the area to leave, as they were trespassing. That’s when Tafoya was shot twice in his back. Tafoya survived the shooting and the Albuquerque Police Department (“APD”) is looking for information from citizens to help locate and arrest the perpetrators. The KOB 4 News report includes video of the persons potentially involved in the shooting.

My brothers and sisters, senseless and violent crime is out of control in Albuquerque! Period. The only answer is the Answer, and His name is Jesus! So many of our youth seem to be walking around at all hours of the day with guns and looking for a reason to be “disrespected!” Lord have mercy.
If after viewing the videos you can help identify the persons of interest, please contact the APD. It’s not about retribution, but civil law and order is of God and the shooter needs to come to a reckoning with what happened and to be shown the love of God. The two are not mutually exclusive!
Romans 13:1-2 (NKJV)
“Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.”
Praise Jesus forevermore!
