So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.” Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.” And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour. If there’s faith the size of mustard seed there’s always hope!
Hope and Faith see the Hand of God move!
Faith will give us the ability to witness the unimaginable.
It will change fear, doubt and worry.
With faith, mountains will move!
Why the mustard seed ?
There is something very special about this mustard seed.
Many people don’t know about the characteristics of this seed.
In Israel there are many places where it’s dry and the soil can be very rocky. The ground isn’t very fertile to allow most types of seed to grow.
A mustard seed has the ability and tenacity to grow in almost any environment, regardless of how hostile the environment may be!
This seed doesn’t allow even the toughest, most unforgiving terrain dictate how and where it plants its roots!
When the roots start to get established there is nothing that gets in its way.
In the rocky hills the roots will literally push the rocks aside, it will move the mountain, literally. It doesn’t let anything get in its way to stop it from growing!
The Creation of God is amazing! He created this tiny seed, when fully grown and matured you wouldn’t expect the tiniest seed to become!
When fully matured they can grow up to 30 feet tall!
It doesn’t allow anything to get in the way of stumping its growth.
Its purpose is to develop and become what its Creator has designed it to be.
How much life is in your Spiritual seed? How much life is in your faith? What are you allowing in your life to steal and stop you from becoming what God has created you for?
Faith is the basic ingredient to begin a relationship with God.
It’s trusting that He hears our pleads.
Faith is allowing every word we speak and think fall on the ears of a God that has created us in His image. Through the Sacrifice of His only begotten Son and we received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”
Our little speck of Faith will grow when we see the Faithfulness of our God!
By Faith we get understanding!
By Faith we will obey what He says!
By Faith we receive strength!
By Faith we will not perish because we believe what He says is true!
Through faith we can subdue kingdoms!
We can work out our righteousness through Jesus!
It’s by Faith that we obtain the promises given to us.
Faith will preserve your Spiritual life. By Faith we will have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Faith is knowing that all the things the Bible says, every Word and every promise are true, even though we can’t always see them.
It gives us as believers and followers of Christ to understand and believe that all that has been said in God’s Word will come to pass. Faith believes on and waits for the promises Jesus has made to us!
Faith brings reality to all the things that we can’t see.
Faith is an action. It’s something that we have to purpose ourselves to gain, not allowing anything to stunt its growth or dependency on Jesus!
Faith in Christ is when we see the impossible becomes the possible!
The mustard seed trusts and has the confidence that no matter what, it will stop at nothing to become what its Creator has created it to be!
Even the smallest of faiths is pushing away even at the smallest peebles that stand before it. This seed will grow. It will become grounded and rooted. When it has fully matured, even the mountain itself moves out of its way because it can no longer has the power to get in its way!
Get faith of a mustard seed!
Start to push forward. Don’t allow the mountains of doubt, fear and worry stunt your Spiritual growth! Most importantly, allow your mustard seed of faith to be grounded and rooted in Jesus Christ! Let His Faithfulness, Truthfulness and Righteousness take this seed and grow it into an immovable, unshakable firmly planted and rooted in the Truth of His Word!
Then and only then can we proclaim;
“say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”
Grow and become the tree that not only moves mountains, but sits on top of it.
It stands on the mountain in victory.
Then it looks over and sees what can be accomplished by just the Faith of a Mustard seed!
