Lets clear the air on this issue. There is false information going out about the New Mexico Referendum effort. It is alive, not dead. After seeing what the Santa Fe New Mexican reported yesterday, State judge says secretary of state has oversight on repealing laws, I contacted New Mexico pro-life leaders Ethel Maharg of Love Life Ministries and Jodi Hendricks Executive Director at NM Family Action Movement. I wanted to dig deeper and get to the truth as to what is going on. Ethel told me “We’re making a difference and so they (The Left) are trying to stop us.”
This quote is from Ethel Maharg on May 23rd of this year in a message she wrote for FGGAM, it rings so true for these times we live in: “People may get upset and want to give up because they may have to take another step because the liberal left shows up. I ask, Did you really think they were going to go away? No, they are going to fight. We should take note and do likewise. This is a battle we are engaged in, and it’s a battle worth fighting for so go get what is yours, and don’t back down.”
