The Christian Post recently reported about the persecution against Christians in North Korea. If Christians in North Korea are found possessing a bible, they face the death penalty, and family members, including children, are sentenced to life imprisonment.
The US State Department’s 2022 International Religious Freedom Report includes an incident where a two-year-old child was sentenced to life in a prison camp after his parents were caught with a bible.
An estimated 70,000 Christians are incarcerated in North Korea, where prisoners face harsh conditions and physical mistreatment.

My brothers and sisters, lets not forget the heartless persecution against believers in North Korea and other secular-mandated states around the globe. God bless the missionaries, who without fanfare and at genuine risk of incarceration (or worse), work tirelessly each day to share the gospel of Christ, helping to bring salvation to countless persons who might not otherwise have the opportunity to hear about Jesus!
Matthew 28:16-20 (NKJV)
The Great Commission
“Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted. And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’ Amen.”
Praise Jesus forevermore!
