Where Is God When We Are Hurting?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. This morning I will interview a woman for my radio show, Destiny Moments that has suffered the loss of losing a husband and a child within months. I prayed with a dear Pastor friend this morning that God would use him to bring comfort to his sister, family and friends as he is traveling as a result of a tractor accident his sister’s husband recently had. I pray for my own children this morning at the loss of their grandfather. Life has so many twists and turns and at times we have all asked God this question? Where are you when we are hurting?
Let’s Pray:
Father, Psalm 147:3-5 tells us that you, oh God heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds. You determine the number of the stars and calls them each by name. Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit.
Father, today we pray for everyone around this globe that is grieving and is suffering from loss. You know every detail and we thank you for healing the brokenhearted. No one can touch the human heart like our Heavenly Father.
Father, I can’t find the words to put this morning, but I know your Word has the supernatural power to heal, to bring peace in times of sorrow, grief and adversity. Touch your people today, we pray. Amen.
