Do You Have Time For A Story?
A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. (Isaiah 42:3)
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Have you ever looked at the pain behind the eyes of a hurting soul? Have you ever taken the time to really listen to another person’s story without judgement? Have you made time for someone that may never be able to ever return anything to you? If you haven’t you really should take some time to sit with someone and listen to their story, really listen. God’s love is agape. Let’s ask God to tenderize our hearts today for his people.
Psalm 24 tells us this: The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters.
Father, thank you that you re-write stories every day. Father, thank you that your grace is sufficient. Father, may someone have the courage they need today to step out and start again. Father, may we never be too busy to hear a hurting soul’s story.
Father, you tell us not to judge, or we too will be judged. For in the same way, we judge others, we will be judged, and with the measure we use, it will be measured to us. (Matthew 7:1)
Father, pour out agape love through us your people that know you, so others may come to know you as a good Father, the best Father. Your love, mercy and grace are amazing. Help us to give it away in word, action and deed.
Father, may we always have time for a story. Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. You are loved with an everlasting love. (Jeremiah 31:3)
