The Cross is our hope.

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.”

1 Corinthians 1:18

The message of the Cross is folly to those who don’t believe. They think Christians are all crazy for laying every single Hope on one event.

The truth is, the Cross is the foundation of our Christians faith. It is our hope. If it wasn’t for the death and resurrection of Christ, life would be utterly meaningless!

The Cross and all is represents is the greatest display of Gods awesome power, ever!

God does not merely declare His love. He demonstrates it on the cross.

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Romans 5:8

To some, the message of the Cross can be a stumbling block to their pride.

The world is getting worse every day. Hate, immorality, violence, corruption, and much more. It seems to be the norm. In our best effort, we must change and seek God’s face and turn our hearts to him in these matters.

There is only one hope for us in that empty tomb- Jesus Christ and He alone crucified.

For Christ crucified is the foundation of all my hopes, the fountain of all my joys and my surety in Christ alone!

On old Golgotha stood a Cross. The emblem of Victory, salvation and love. Christ rescued us when He took all of our penalties as He died for us.

If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead, we shall be saved.

For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Romans 10:9-10

Colossians 2:15 says that God disarmed the spiritual powers, and triumphed over them through the cross.

“God proved His love on the Cross. When Christ hung, and bled, and died, it was God saying to the world, ‘I love you.’”

Billy Graham

“But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.” The Apostle Paul in Galatians 6:14
