“The Lord looks down from heaven upon the children of men,
To see if there are any who understand, who seek God.” (Psalm 14:2)
“Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21 and having a High Priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:19-25)
“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; 21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.” (John 17:20-23)
My LORD; our LORD’s strongest desire and prayer to His Father; our Father, is for His Church to be perfect in oneness. Today in America, the Church is far from this, from the individual believer, the individual local Churches, Churches in associations and the entire masses of Churches in America which claim the name of Jesus Christ, God’s only Son. The evil one laughs at the state of the Church’s disunity. He does not have any fear of the mainstream churches, large or small, now or ever, until these Churches become united in and under Christ Jesus. The individual believer, and the whole of Church membership across the nation must return to the fear (AWE) of the LORD and His Holy Word.
There is only one hope for families . . . the only one hope for communities (schools, local governments and businesses), . . . only one hope for this nation . . . only one hope for this world . . . and that is for God’s people, His Church (and the individual Christian), to get on their faces before God, in selfless, God honoring, Kingdom building, extended periods of prayer. Church, wake up, and Pray On!
