Are You Called To Be A Missionary?
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I was thinking this morning about this scripture in Matthew 7:11-12 Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him. That one scripture alone draws me to my knees every morning as I look to him.
As a writer you think a lot. I was thinking about the radio program Missions In Your Back Yard, with Tom Obey on Lighthouse Radio, here in Maine. Harbor of Hope, brings what people are doing right here in our state to help someone else. Doesn’t that make you want to tune in?
I have had the privilege to be on this program a few times. We all can be missionaries. There is great need in the world today. What are you willing to do for service? Your mission today could be that neighbor across the street, that person around the corner, or the child that has no food.
Today, let’s ask him for some ways to deliver hope. Let’s get him involved in some ways to bring hope alive in our world today. How about it, are you in?
