I was reading through one of my journals the other day and came across an entry from March 10, 2023. It really encouraged me and I hope it encourages you and blesses you with the reminder that we can go to Jesus with our burdens. It only steals our joy to carry stuff that is not ours to carry.

My own Ishi (Jesus, my Husband),

I met You at the forget-me-nots again. You’re always there waiting for me. I ran and jumped into Your arms and kissed You! We were laughing and so delighted to be together. I took Your arm and we walked to my hill view worship spot and stopped there.

I looked up at You and asked why I feel distant from You. You told me that I was carrying worries. Then I knew. I could feel them…Ronnie, Natie (my daughter’s nickname), my health, and they were so heavy on my heart.

You told me to give them to You. I couldn’t carry them all because when I reached into my heart, they were so heavy. “Ruach (Holy Spirit), help me! I can’t do it.”

You helped me my Ruach, and we pulled out a heavy bowling ball and handed it to my Ishi.

Ishi, You took it and threw it into the air and it broke and became hundreds of fireflies lighting up the night! We watched them blinking and laughed with joy and started dancing around together!

Thank You, my own Ishi Yeshua, for taking my burdens and giving me Your joy! I love You forever and always. xoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Matthew 11:28-30

Come unto Me, all of you who labor and are forced to bear burdens, and I shall give you rest.

Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am peaceful and meek in My heart and you will find rest for your souls.

For My yoke is pleasant and My burden is light.

Zephaniah 3:17

LORD JEHOVAH your God within you, the Mighty Man and The Savior, he shall sweeten you in joy and he shall make you new in his love, and he shall make you dance with a song as that in the day of a feast!

Hallelujah and amen. Be blessed beloved ones and don’t worry, your Champion has it!

Dawn Bridges
Dawn's heart is to encourage the Body so that all would come to see the Christ-life as all-living, life-giving truth, that we would all walk in the Holy Spirit to such fullness that anyone we come in contact with comes in contact with the living God. (Ephesians 4:23-24) She has always liked writing and in March 2007, the Lord gave her 1 Peter 4:10-11 As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. Dawn is very blessed to be married to her best friend, Ron, who continually nourishes her with the washing of the Word. They currently live in Oklahoma, and have two married sons, an adult daughter, six granddaughters and two grandsons.
