A friend of mine texted me this morning, “The city is in trouble.” He was talking about Albuquerque. It is more than trouble the city faces, it is falling into hell. It was the talk of many at Mariposa Park today after we got the news of three people being shot to death and the recent shooting death of the 5-year-old that was killed when teenagers fired into the home she was at. We also have teenagers killing other teenagers in this city and teenagers killing adults. Satan is having his way with many in Albuquerque. So many unchurched here, but a Church on every street corner! UGH! Time for Pastors and congregants to seek JESUS! Time for all Christians to carry out The Great Commission. Tear down the walls, tear down the egos, tear down the Church clicks, tear down denominations, what are all the fancy buildings doing to attract the lost?

Albuquerque is lost…….what are you going to do about it? By the way, The Great Commission is not a suggestion, it is a command from JESUS! The Church here seems pretty silent on all the murders, I have heard from just one Church, New Beginnings, about the murder of the of the 5 year-old!!!!!!!! ONE CHURCH! That was at a New Mexico Prays meeting, where just maybe 50 people showed up. I was there with Chuck Akeley and Bill Ruhl. Where is the outrage??? You take Calvary, Legacy and Sagebrush, you have about 30,000 people right? Maybe a little less. Why do not all these folks team together with all the other Churches and swarm the streets of Albuquerque one weekend soon????? The Great Commission! Why the walls? Unite!
Why have 10 to 50 people in a Church building, when you could merge with other Churches???? There is power in numbers! Denominations where created by man, not GOD! There will be no labels and denominations in heaven.
It is late, but I have said now for years, the Governor needs to call the National Guard to Albuquerque and station these heroes at the high crime areas to act as a deterrent. Also do these ABQ Community Safety Responders carry a gun?? I pray they do, but I don’t think they do. It is awful if they are not carrying! It is not fair at all to them! If you know, let me know please.
