It’s A Good Day Already…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. I was thinking this morning about my oldest grandson now attending high school. I began to reminisce about the play I took my him to at Presque Isle High School when he was just a little boy, actually he was four years old. We were wowed at an outstanding performance of Willy Wonka. I still can hear the young man as he played the part of Charlie Bucket and sang the song Think Positive. Now my oldest grandson is now entering high school himself and has entered a new season of his life.
It brings to mind the scripture in Philippians 4 verse 8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
It’s amazing how a bad memory, a poor choice or the world around us and all the negative reports we hear each day impacts us. Although it happened, it hurt, and the world seems to be growing darker, it doesn’t change the Word of the Lord. People are losing hope today and as Christians we are to bring that hope. Romans 15 verse 13 a favorite scripture: Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Let’s declare today that no matter the negative influences that bombard our lives, we will fill our bucket with good thoughts, good reports and look for the positive. Today, let’s declare we will speak good things and our words will bring hope that will encourage others. Let’s declare today is going to be a good day.
Also, let’s not forget to pass it on as well. Let’s look for someone to bless, edify, build up and encourage. Let’s make today a good day for someone else and watch how our day unfolds. It’s a good day already, Amen?
Let’s Pray:
Father, we join our faith for every reader today. We declare that no matter what the circumstances are, your Word triumphs it all. No matter the loss, no matter the disappointments, you are our living hope.
Father, today fill each reader with a fresh wind of hope. May you send someone to encourage them, to lift their spirits and bless them. May you send them to do the same for someone else. Today God we declare it’s a good day! Amen.
Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people, for this is the day the Lord has made, and we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24
