“The Hill” Movie tells one man’s story of faith, perseverance
Pastor Dewey Moede
This movie is special to me as I wore a full-legged brace for almost 2 years. (pictured above) I had a rare hip disease when I was 4 years of age. The doctor told me and my mom and dad that I may never walk or run like the other kids. I could see my parents tear up when Doctor Meredith said that. The Lord healed me! I got such wonderful support from mom and dad, my whole family and community! So much love and prayers! I am now 67 and still very active! I took the year off from playing softball, but Sharon, Daisy and I go on a 2 mile walk/run almost everyday! Glory to God!
Dennis Quade sure is very active in Christian movies!
From The Christian Post:
During this interview with CP, Ricky Hill shares how he knew God was calling him to play professional baseball despite being born with a birth defect that required him to wear braces on his legs. Hill, who also faced a stern Baptist father who wanted him to enter the ministry, persevered to achieve his dream. His story is now featured in the film “The Hill,” starring Dennis Quaid, Scott Glenn, Colin Ford, Randy Houser and Joelle Carter. Watch the interview now.
