U.S. church membership is now at a record low — down more than 20 points in the 21st century. What is the cause?

I am a very blessed man, Sharon and I are the caretakers of FGGAM for God. This is our calling. We are here because of God, not man. We get to report God’s truth with the world everyday, not a political view. – FGGAM is a nondenominational, nonpartisan, Independent ministry – So much freedom to be all sold out to GOD! Not the ways of man! Never be tied to the ways of man. JESUS at the center of everything in your life!

Sharon and I met Amy in Castle Rock, Colorado on our Great Commission/family Trip. We gave her a cross that is hand made by our buddy Dwight Kastendieck in Grants, NM! We now have visited her twice in the last year. Amy and her family are doing super with JESUS AT THE CENTER of their lives! They are overcomers!

We were sounding the alarm about this on KKIM Christian radio almost 20 years ago now. We have continued to sound the alarm. I had a solid team of Pastors at KKIM who spoke to this often. We continue to do so here at FGGAM. So many Churches have chased away people with politics. An unbelieving world saw Pastors supporting evil politicians, and still do. I KNOW! I hear it in my travels as an evangelist! Great damage has been done to the Bride of Christ by Pastors and congregants. The last statement is why I am not such a popular Pastor. As we traveled last year through New Mexico, Arizona, California, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana and South Dakota, we heard, “To much politics in the Church,” How can Pastors support Trump?” I have always said that politics is the playground of Satan! “The Church is not effective in helping solve our problems,” “The Church is spreading hate.” A huge portion of what we do here at FGGAM is minister to those that do not go to Church and also to unbelievers. We love to build bridges of love and trust in hopes of brining all to JESUS! Evangelism is hard work, it takes time, but like my daddy said, “Its like water dripping on cement, it eventually cracks.” We always try to get people hooked up with a solid Church. I just got another call from a lovely lady asking me to do the funeral service for her daddy. The family does not have a Church, but they are believers. They became disconnected from the Church over the years, as many Americans have. My prayer has been for about 20 years now that Pastors would get out of their four walls and go into the streets and listen to people as to why they do not belong to a Church. My daddy taught me to put myself in the shoes of others. Many Pastors never do that, they are in their own little Kingdom. I will go to my grave in saying, “Much of the Church in America fell in love with politics and also failed to carry out The Great Commission.” God might ask you about that.

The America we live in: Barna Research: Just 4% of Americans have a Biblical Worldview! JUST 37% of Pastors have a Biblical Worldview! Do I need to say anymore? Yep!

Pastors! Go out into the streets and byways and talk to people, build bridges of love and trust for JESUS! GO!

“What after all are these churches now if they are not the tombs and sepulchers of God?”

In 2023 in America, that last question feels uncomfortably relevant, even for those of us who know God is alive and well. U.S. church membership, as a percentage of the population, is now at a record low — down more than 20 points in the 21st century.

For years, this statistic could be attributed mostly to the decline of mainline Protestantism, a once dominant force in American life that is now a kind of hospice for graying liberal theology. However, recent news that the Southern Baptist Convention, America’s largest Protestant denomination, lost half a million members last year makes clear that decline is no longer just a mainline problem. More Here

There are no peacemakers in American politics. America is so very divided, we are in a civil war, many do not see that we are. THE ONLY PEACEMAKER IS JESUS! JESUS! SING IT! SHOUT IT! There is no living man or woman that can bring us together! ONLY JESUS! JESUS!
